Happened to see Neeya Naana in Vijay TV when we were flipping through the channels on a lazy Sunday , not sure what the topic of discussion was , it was something like "Love - present and past" .
An average looking girl's (G) view on boyfriend(s)/lover(s)
G: "Sir , Even when you buy a sandal you will try a few before deciding on something , so when it comes to life partner what is wrong in going for a trial ? You wont know a guy from just his looks , pazhalagi patha thana theriyum . Moreover you wont know whether you have got the best if you don’t try quite a few."
Well certain things doesn't translate well , so gist in tamil "Trial patha thana sir theriyum?" ( not sure what all features the trial version includes)
Host of program (H) : "Oh, you are saying there is nothing wrong in having many boyfriends .So How long will this go on ?"
G: "Till we find the right one sir."
H: "Oh Evanachum oru illichavayan mattuvanrenga . So what kind of guys are in demand among today's girls? Romeo types who also might have/had multiple gfs or the god fearing goody goods ?"
G:"Definetely Romeo types . Because…"
H: "Oh you want a guy who was in love before ,so that you r sure that he is capable ?"
G: "Exactly sir."
Well my roomies didn't have the patience to continue , so switched to Sony Pix for a horror movie.
